For Hey Alma!: Advice Column Response

I write for the online magazine Hey Alma!, and, as a convert to Judaism (read more about my journey HERE); I was thrilled when their new advice column took on a question from a fellow convert. The letter writer was feeling uncertain whether they should disclose that they weren't born Jewish.

The response by the editor and Hey Alma! community were so supportive! However, as someone with lived experience as a convert, I know that finding your footing in Jewish spaces isn't always quite as simple as the column suggested.
